Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 8, 2026

AccountIQ (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an account intelligence platform built for Customer Success, Account Executive, and Solutions Engineering teams. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. By using AccountIQ you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, company, role, and any profile details you provide.

Authentication data. We use Supabase Auth to handle sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information from Google (name, email, avatar).

Tracked accounts. The companies you choose to track, along with any notes, contacts, or org chart data you add.

Google Calendar data. If you connect Google Calendar, we request read-only access to your primary calendar to match meetings to tracked accounts and generate meeting prep. We store event titles, times, attendees, and descriptions for matched meetings only. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

Usage data. Basic product analytics (pages visited, features used, errors encountered) to help us improve the product.

Branding assets. Logos, colors, and template files you upload for EBR deck generation.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide account intelligence, alerts, and EBR deck generation
  • To match calendar events to tracked accounts and generate meeting prep
  • To send transactional emails (magic links, alert notifications, account updates)
  • To improve product quality, including debugging errors and analyzing usage patterns
  • To communicate with you about product updates, billing, and support

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your tracked account data or calendar data with other AccountIQ users.

3. Third-party subprocessors

We rely on a small number of trusted vendors to operate AccountIQ. These subprocessors process data strictly on our behalf under contractual data protection obligations:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge network
  • Anthropic — Claude models used to summarize, classify, and generate intelligence and meeting prep
  • Google — Calendar API for calendar sync (read-only)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Sentry — application error monitoring and performance tracing
  • SEC EDGAR & public news sources — public data we ingest on your behalf for tracked accounts

4. AI and model training

AccountIQ uses Anthropic’s Claude API to summarize public news, classify signals, and generate meeting prep. Data sent to Anthropic is governed by Anthropic’s commercial terms. We do not use your data to train any machine learning models, and we do not permit our subprocessors to use your data for training their models unless they are contractually prohibited from doing so.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Intelligence items are retained for the duration of your subscription. Calendar events are retained for 90 days after the meeting occurs, unless attached to an account record. When you delete your account, we permanently delete all your personal data, tracked accounts, contacts, calendar data, and branding assets within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain specific records.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. You can:

  • Edit your profile and branding data anytime in Settings
  • Disconnect Google Calendar from Settings → Google Calendar
  • Permanently delete your account from Settings → Danger Zone (this cascades to all your data)
  • Request a data export by emailing us at the address below

If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including TLS in transit, row-level security on all database tables, encrypted OAuth tokens, and role-based access control for our own team. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you have found a vulnerability, please contact us immediately.

8. Children

AccountIQ is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of AccountIQ after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
